My name is Robert "Rabbett" Abbett.
I am the webmaster of Hawai`i's H4 and
the producer of Quicktime VR's here in Hawai`i.

This web features many fine examples of what
is possible with the incredible technology that
many of us have come to know and utilize - Quicktime VR!

In a nutshell, Quicktime VR technology allows
you to show potential clients or interested parties actual
360 degree pictures of your location, surroundings, offices
or corporate grounds, hotel suites, restaurant, etc... in an amazing
3 dimensional manner. This technology is useful and easy to
include on web pages or within multimedia presentations
on cd roms or for information kiosks.

We are also versed in preparing VRs for Java Viewing like those here, Real VR, IBM's new PanoramIX and others. Again, it is the shoot and the imagery that counts the most.

I author on a Mac and prefer Quicktime because it has the best overall photographic resolution plus the ability to zoom, pan, grab and spin the image! We can also add sound like in this example.

Quicktime also has the largest currently installed user base both on mac and windows machines of all flavors (3.1, Windows 95, 98 and NT).
