What is the H-4 all about?

The H-4 is a continually evolving expression of a personal love affair with this very special place.

I'm a communicator...I love people and I love Hawai`i. After being in radio for 19 years professionally, the World-Wide Web is a dream come true...a new media which allows for the individual to grow, to share and to make a difference. For yours truly, the World-Wide Web is a new media with no idiot program directors, no bozo general managers and wide open cyberspaces! It is very exciting.

What on earth possessed me to name this web the H4?

In Hawai'i, the major highways on O`ahu are named the H-1, H-2 and the H-3 (now under construction). These are roads, freeways, asphalt...The H-4 is the next Highway, a "freeway" also but, one living, breathing and growing in a much different, and very exciting new realm.

Our system is an exponentially growing archival database which hopes to provide information on everything and anything having to do with Hawai'i. We also offer Hawaiian Goods and Services for sale through our "On-Line Hawaii General Store".

We hope that more and more Hawaiian computer users will join us in showing the "local side" of Hawai'i to the world. We invite and encourage information sharing, even if it is only the posting of a garage sale or car wash to benefit your church or school. Our Calendar section is available as a public service for listings of non-profit events free of charge!
