It's weird what VR does to waves and people...waves get shortened and people disappear! Never worry if someone walks through your panorama shoot...most likely, they'll be blended away....
I took this Sunday afternoon 3/31/96 - Shot it around 12:15 p.m. @ 250th of a sec at F16.
This shot was taken down by the old Waikiki helipad location, on a strip of beach that separates the Lagoon and the Ocean. See Hilton's Rainbow Tower?
Five-O's Steve McGarret used to say "Book 'em Danno" a lot down around these parts.

Your webmeister got "creative" here, breaking a cardinal panorama/VR rule...
I tilted the camera back 35 to 40 degrees when I shot this circle. You can see there are a few awkward spots...another crack at stitching might iron the anomolies out....or, we were having an earthquake Sunday at around 4 p.m. when I took this...yeah! That's it, we had an earthquake while I was taking this panorama of America's only Royal Palace...
Then again, maybe it's your eyes....
New 4/4View from Kakaako Waterfront Park
Kakaako Waterfront Park is relatively new. There is a hill with a winding path which takes you up to a viewing platform which affords a terrific view of the park, the ocean and Honolulu...Have a Peek!
New 4/4View of Ala Wai and Magic Island
Magic Island is part of Ala Moana Park, it lies ewa of the Ala Wai Harbor. Here's a view. This was one of those shot last Sunday....this is also an example of where lots of people walked through the shoot but were dissolved away in stitching...Cool!
New 4/6Rab goes wacko in Photoshop
This is the Kailua Bay MOV - sort of...I had some fun in Photoshop inverting colors and experiementing. Also chose a new format size for the VR window of 500 X 300 pixels.
New 4/7 Waikiki from the Diamond Head end
Waikiki from the concrete pier fronting Kapahulu Avenue, featuring the "zone" of disappearance....a special place that swallows people as they cross into the zone....can you see the disconnected shadow?...and the boy entering the "zone"?
