One of the more humourous aspects of my trip to Connecticut was seeing all kinds of Canada Geese. I assumed that they should have been migrating south but according to my father, they have been wintering more and more in Connecticut. We'd see them all over during the day but I wondered where they must hang out at night. On the way thru South Britain and Southbury, Ct. I happened across hundreds "grazing" on the grounds of the Southbury Training School on Route 172. Yes, those specs on the lawn are hundreds of geese. They would not let me get very close. In fact every time I tried to set up the tripod closer, they would move. Our comfort zone was about 45 feet. This VR was shot on October 23rd, 1998.
