David Mantripp's VR for a Wrinkle in Time!
QTVR by David Mantripp

This QTVR movie was shot at 7pm local time (9am HST) on Westminster Bridge, London, England. It was a foggy December evening, and the arc lights from the reconstruction of Westminster Underground station were a bit of a problem. The photographs were taken using an Apple QuickTake 200 digital camera mounted on a Kaidan QPX-2 . The panorama was stiched in record time using the fabulous Apple QuickTime VR Authoring Studio. My Mac was 20 miles from the shoot, but the pano was complete by 9pm local - thanks to this new Apple software.

Thanks for moral and alcoholic support: Fiona Strawbridge, Seymour Laxon.

Movie window: H400 V200
Compression Cinepak 25%
Flattened, QTVR 1.0

(note: I've only *just* got QTVRAS, so I haven't checked that it produces correctly flattened movies. I've used the Movie Player extension to convert back to 1.0 - As soon as I installed QT3 on Mac - only done it on W95 so far - I'll create a Fast Start version and upload that. The movie size is 460K - not sure what the target was, but I'll make a skinnier one on request. Cheers! - Dave.)
