Funky details:

This shot was taken at the end of Main Street in Whitehorse. You can see the historic White Pass and Yukon station, there. It's a yellow building. The Capital Hotel is the de facto joint to whoop it up in when you come to town. The sun was still low on the horizon during this shoot, it being the shortest day of the year. Normally Whitehorse gets about 7 hours of real daylight at this point. Can't say for sure what the temperature was; suffice to describe it as cold.

While spinning I was forced to reload twice--no, not film (this was shot with a digital camera), batteries! During this shoot the cold killed two new sets of 4 AA Duracell batteries. Fun stuff. Fingers hit borderline frostbite clicking the trigger, took me fifteen minutes to get feeling back again. That's what I get for not bringing proper hand gear, I guess.
