Here's the real reason I was downtown on Friday the 13th. My day job company put new windows in the Hawaiian Electric Honolulu Power Plant Machine Shop. See the grids on the bottom of the windows? Those are there so the guys can throw their tools across the bench and not break any window glass. The old rusty steel windows they used to have didn't have glass in the bottoms, it was gone....he he he.
I sold the job, wanted to check up on it and take some snapshots and well, hey, no one was to be disturbed, so I did a VR.
I used to work in a machine shop while going to college and the sight of these old lathes, and tool and die machines, planers and such kinda made me nostalgic for a bit. This room has purpose, charm and a lot of history. The power plant was built back in the 30's.
This VR was shot around 11 a.m.
