Sunday, January 26th...Superbowl Sunday

Across from busy Waikiki Beach and up three floors is a pleasant retreat with a great view, a pool, and refreshments for the weary and guests of the world famous Hawaiian Regent Hotel.

This VR was shot at about 11 a.m. H.S.T., just two hours before the big game.

Mild temperatures in the low 80's and a gentle trade wind breeze made this a great place to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and perhaps a bloody mary before a stroll across the street for a pre-Superbowl dip and a bit o' sun.

The Hawaiian Regent hosted several Superbowl parties and hundreds of guests from around the world - all seeking warm refuge from the ravages of colder climes.

When in Waikiki and looking for a break, seek out this wonderful spot. You're sure to enjoy yourself and the view affords for great people watching as an added bonus!
