Yesterday, Saturday the 24th, my daughter Amelia and I took a day trip over to Kauai. We zoomed from the airport up to Hanalei in an attempt to catch the valley and the bay in sunshine. We did pretty good. Here is what we saw.
Thousands of people stop here and catch this view every day. This view has been seen on tv in bank ads, in magazines, and on other webs but, never before in 360 degrees!
Hanalei Valley is one of the lushest places on earth and a big source of taro. A brand new paved road replaces what was damaged and washed away by a storm several months ago.

On the way back we ran into Ron Wood, an old friend and former co-worker - we worked at KIKI/KPIG FM together back in 1979. If you're on Kauai you can see Ron on the Kauai Visitors' Channel as host of their programs.
