About 2 p.m.
I was coming over the H3 from the other side and an appointment and saw sunshine up on the Pali Notch. Busloads of frantic anxious tourists kept me from doing a 360 up top and I decided to check out the lower view along the Old Pali Highway.

Wow, I am glad I walked down there. Here's a view so very few people ever see.

Imagine driving along where I'm standing. The Old Pali was much narrower and hugged the winding mountain terrain with no mercy. The mountain walls behind be are sheer and almost straight up.
