Name of my VR: newport.mov
Dimensions: (width and height): 400 X 200 and file size is about 255K Location of my VR's shoot: From the South Beach Marina jetty. You can see one of Oregons most beautiful bridges, accross Yaquina Bay is the Bayfront of Newport.

EQUIPMENT USED:
Sony DCR VX-700 digital videocam, mounted in portrait mode on a homemade rig, mounted on a Bogen #3126 Video Head, mounted on a Bogen #136 Leveling Head (24 evenly spaced marks on a tape). All of this on a sturdy Bogen #3021 Tripod. You can see my equipment at http://www.teleport.com/~ganymede/homepage/VRSetup.html

PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES:
I captured 24 images in digital still mode which takes about 8 seconds for each shot starting at 11:00 am PST. I then imported the images into my Mac 8500 with a Newer Technology G3 processor, 144 Megs of Ram, running OS 8. I touched up the images with Photoshop. One problem doing an outdoor Pano on the Solstice was that the sun (fairly rare in Newport) was still low in the sky. I had to deal with a very bright background. I used MPW to stitch the picts and Apple's free Make Pano Movie utility.
