The Waikoloa Area on the Big Island was supposed to be the best spot to catch 1991's eclipse. Clouds obscured the view!

Just moments before totality, the big black cloud (dark area above) rolled in and permanently obscured the sun for the duration of totality! Bummers man!

Here are a couple of shots of a partial solar eclipse that I shot a few months after the one in July.
